EDD Nightmare: Unprofessional Rep for Unemployment Reapplication - Need Advice!
I just had the worst experience trying to reapply for unemployment benefits. The representative I spoke to was so unprofessional and didn't help at all. Has anyone else dealt with this? I'm wondering if I should try calling again or if there's a better way to handle this. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you checked if you're actually eligible to reapply? There are specific rules about when you can file a new claim vs. reopening an existing one. Might save you some headache if you double-check that first.

I'm in the same boat, been trying to reapply for weeks now. The whole system is a joke. They make it so hard on purpose, I swear. Hang in there, OP. We're all struggling together. 💪
It's not on purpose, they're just understaffed and overwhelmed. Cut them some slack.

SDI claim still pending after a month - what to do?
Hey everyone, I'm having some issues with my SDI claim. I submitted all my documents back on February 27th, but it's still showing as pending. It's been over a month now and I haven't heard anything. Has anyone else experienced such a long wait time? I'm getting worried and could really use some advice on what to do next. Should I try calling them or is there another way to check on the status?

I've been dealing with this for MONTHS. Filed in March, still haven't gotten through to anyone. This is beyond frustrating.

My unemployment claim has been pending for over a month now. I submitted all the required documents back in February, but it's still not processed. Has anyone else experienced such long delays? I've heard rumors that they're prioritizing new claims over pending ones from a few months ago. Anyone know if there's any truth to that?
I doubt it. My claim is new (filed last week) and I'm still waiting. Think they're just swamped across the board.

PSA: If you're having trouble with EDD, contact your state representative's office! They often have liaisons who can help cut through the red tape.
