PFL processing delays - anyone else struggling to reach a human at the office?

Has anyone else been waiting forever to get their paid family leave processed? I've been trying to get through to someone for days now and still haven't been able to speak with a real person. It's so frustrating! Any tips on how to actually reach a human being at the office?

I found a way to solve paid family leave processing delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f8yMwBuCZIk

Ugh, I feel your pain! I've been in the same boat for weeks now. It's like they don't want us to actually get our benefits. 🤬

Weeks? Try months! I've been waiting since March and still nothing. This system is a joke.

Have you guys tried calling right when they open? I heard that's the best time to get through.

Yeah, I've tried that. No luck. It's like playing the lottery at this point.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I get the skepticism, but it seriously worked for me. After weeks of trying, I finally got through and got my issue resolved. Worth every penny imo.

Here's what I've learned after dealing with this for months: 1. Be persistent. Call every day if you have to. 2. Keep detailed records of all your calls and attempts to contact them. 3. Reach out to your local representative. Sometimes they can help push things along. 4. Join Facebook groups or other online communities for support and tips. 5. If all else fails, consider filing a complaint with the state labor board. Hang in there, everyone. I know it's tough, but don't give up!

Contacting my rep actually worked for me. Took a few weeks, but they eventually got back to me and helped resolve my issue.

Am I the only one who thinks its ridiculous that we have to jump through all these hoops just to get what we're entitled to? The whole system needs an overhaul.

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling some of the other departments. Sometimes they can transfer you internally.

This! I got through by calling the employer line and asking to be transferred. Took a few tries but eventually worked.

Has anyone had any luck with the online portal? I've been trying to submit my documents there but keep getting error messages.

The online portal is a joke. I swear it was designed by monkeys 🐒

Try using a different browser. For some reason, it only works on Chrome for me.
