PFL Claim Approved Today - How Long Until Payment?

Hey everyone, I just got my PFL claim approved today and I'm wondering how long it usually takes to get paid? Anyone have experience with this? I'm kinda anxious to get the money and not sure what to expect.

I found a way to solve PFL payment delay issues, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t27FEmV-qDY

Congrats on getting approved! In my experience, it usually takes about 2 weeks to get the payment after approval. Keep an eye on your account for updates.

Wow, a month? That sucks. Maybe it depends on the time of year or how busy they are?

I found a way to actually talk to someone on the phone about this stuff. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

Yeah, it's totally legit. I was skeptical at first too, but it saved me hours of waiting on hold. Worth every penny imo

How long did you have to wait for the callback?

It took about 45 minutes for me, but I've heard it can vary depending on how busy they are. Still way better than being stuck on hold yourself!

ugh, the waiting game is the WORST. I swear, dealing with bureaucracy is like watching paint dry, except the paint is your money and it never seems to dry 🙃

Pro tip: Set up direct deposit if you haven't already. It's usually faster than waiting for a check in the mail.

Has anyone else noticed that the payment timelines seem to be all over the place lately? I've heard everything from a week to over a month. It's like playing the lottery, but with our own money 🎰

For real! I think it depends on how Mercury is aligned with Jupiter or something 🔮

Here's a detailed breakdown of what to expect: • Approval to Payment: Typically 7-14 business days • Factors affecting timeline: - Workload of the department - Complexity of your claim - Method of payment (direct deposit is faster) Tips: 1. Check your online account daily for updates 2. Ensure all your info is up-to-date 3. If it's been more than 3 weeks, consider calling for a status update Remember, patience is key. The system isn't perfect, but they do eventually get the payments out. Hang in there!

Quick question - does anyone know if weekends count in the 14-day timeline, or is it just business days?
