PDL claim approval and payment delays - anyone else waiting?

I feel ya, OP. I've been waiting for my PDL approval for what feels like forever. It's been about 6 weeks now, and still nothing. The waiting game is driving me crazy!

I actually found a way to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/DOLxZQb92wM

I got approved after about 4 weeks, but still waiting on payment. It's been another 2 weeks since approval. This whole process is so slow!

Has anyone else noticed that the PDL system seems to be getting worse? I swear it used to be faster a few months ago. Maybe they're understaffed or something?

I'm in week 7 of waiting for my PDL approval and honestly starting to lose hope. It's so frustrating because I need this money to cover my expenses while I'm out on leave. The stress of waiting is almost worse than the original reason I needed the leave! Has anyone had success getting through to someone who could actually help expedite the process? I've tried the regular phone lines but like others mentioned, it's nearly impossible to get through. Might have to try that calling service someone mentioned earlier.
