Hey everyone, I'm having a really frustrating time trying to get more information about my maternity leave claim and check on my payment status. I've been calling for days and can't get through to an actual person. It's driving me crazy! Has anyone else dealt with this? Any tips on how to actually reach a human being?

Pro tip: I found a method that actually works to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Sure! You choose the department you need to reach, pay the fee, and they start calling right away. When an agent picks up, they connect the call to your phone. No specific time given, but it usually takes 1-3 hours in my experience.

Here's what worked for me after struggling for a while: 1. Call exactly at 8:00 AM when they open. 2. If you get a busy signal, hang up and immediately redial. 3. Keep doing this for about 30 minutes if necessary. 4. If you get put on hold, DO NOT HANG UP no matter how long it takes. 5. Be super nice to the rep when you finally get through – they deal with angry people all day. 6. Have all your info ready (claim number, dates, etc.) 7. Ask for an email confirmation of anything they tell you. It's a pain, but persistence is key. Good luck!
