I'm so confused about my Paid Family Leave dates. I applied for PFL from November 8th to November 29th, 2024, but the statement I got from EDD only covers me until November 24th. EDD claim showing $0 due to compromised SSN - sent verification docs, what's next?
I submitted my unemployment claim back in October through mail, and I got a notice saying my benefits were $0 because my SSN was compromised. They told me to get verification from the Social Security office. I did that and sent all the documents to both EDD offices. I included three documents confirming my annual earnings, a letter from SSN confirming my number, a copy of my driver's license, and even my property tax bill to prove my address. What should I do next? Has anyone else dealt with this?

It's slower but more reliable than calling. 3. If you must call, try early mornings or late afternoons on Wednesdays or Thursdays. 4. Have all your info ready before you call. They'll ask for your SSN, claim number, and other details. 5. Be polite to the reps. They're overwhelmed too. 6. If one rep can't help, politely ask to speak to a tier 2 specialist. 7. Document everything. Write down who you talked to and what they said. 8. Check your spam folder regularly. Sometimes important emails end up there. 9. Join Facebook groups or Reddit communities for real-time updates and tips. 10. Consider contacting your local assembly member if you're really stuck. They can sometimes expedite things. I'm in the same boat, waiting since early November. This wait is killing me. Bills don't stop just because EDD is slow 😫
Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling some of the other departments. Sometimes they can transfer you internally and it's faster than waiting on the main queue.

PFL claim for one week not paid, no info why. Help!
Has anyone else had issues with their PFL claim not being paid? I submitted everything they asked for, including the wet signature, but one week's claim still hasn't been paid. The previous week was paid without any problems. I've tried contacting them, but I can't get any information about why this specific claim hasn't been processed. It's so frustrating!

I submitted online. Maybe that's the problem? But then why did the first week go through fine? It's so confusing!
