I'm trying to apply for family leave to take care of my spouse in the hospital, but I'm having trouble with the online application. It keeps giving me an error and won't let me submit. PFL Application Stuck in Processing for 4 Weeks - Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my PFL application. It's been showing as 'processing' for 4 weeks now. Anyone else experiencing this? Any advice on what I should do next? I'm getting worried about the delay. On a lighter note, while I was waiting, I tried my hand at some Indian cooking. Made a pretty decent chickpea curry with some spices I had lying around. At least that turned out well! 😅 Anyone else picking up new hobbies while dealing with this PFL stuff?

Pro tip: If you can't get through on the phone, try faxing your inquiry. Sometimes they respond faster to faxes (ikr, welcome to 1995 🙄
EDD entered wrong return-to-work date, missing a month of benefits. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having a major issue with my unemployment claim. The system has my return-to-work date wrong, and it's messing up my payments. They put in 02/11/25 as my return date, but that was actually just the last time I called them. My real return date is supposed to be 03/10/2025. Because of this mistake, I'm missing a whole month's worth of benefits. Has anyone else dealt with something like this? Any advice on how to get it fixed quickly?

Pro tip: if you can't get through on the main line, try calling some of the other departments. Sometimes they can transfer you internally and it's way faster.

EDD Error 324 when submitting PFL application online - Can't log in to account either. Help!
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble with my PFL application. I mailed it in about a month ago but haven't heard anything back. I tried to check online but I can't even log in to my EDD account. When I try to submit the PFL application online, I keep getting Error 324. Has anyone else dealt with this? Any advice on what to do next?

Pro tip: if you can't get through online or by phone, try faxing your application. I know it sounds like we're back in the 90s, but sometimes it actually works faster than mail or online submissions.

Have you tried applying during off-peak hours? Like really early in the morning or late at night? Sometimes the system works better when there's less traffic.

idk if this helps, but I had a similar issue and it turned out I was using an outdated form. Double check you're using the most recent version of everything.
