Stuck with California SDI benefits - need help!
Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble with my California SDI benefits. Has anyone else been dealing with this lately? I'm not sure what to do next and could really use some advice.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site called claimyr.com. It's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then connects you when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it worked for me. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

ā¢It took about 2 hours for them to get through, but I just went about my day and they called me when an agent was on the line. And yeah, I got my issue sorted out in that one call!

Here's what I've learned after dealing with California SDI for the past few months: ā¢ Always keep copies of everything you submit. They have a habit of "losing" documents. ā¢ If you can, fax your documents instead of mailing them. It's faster and you get a confirmation. ā¢ Check your claim status online regularly. Sometimes they need additional info but don't tell you. ā¢ If you're really stuck, contact your state representative's office. They can sometimes intervene on your behalf. ā¢ Be persistent! Don't give up if you're entitled to benefits. Hope this helps someone. The system is broken, but we gotta work with what we've got. šŖ
