SDI claim stuck in 'pending processing' after form resubmission - how long is this gonna take?

Hey everyone, I'm getting really frustrated with the SDI process. I resubmitted my forms a while ago, but the status is still showing as 'pending processing'. Has anyone else experienced this? How long did it take for your status to update after resubmitting? I'm starting to worry about when I'll actually see any money.

I found a way to solve SDI claim processing delays, watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwigZlYGKd8

Ugh, I feel your pain! I've been stuck in the 'pending processing' limbo for weeks now. It's like they're purposely trying to make this as difficult as possible. Have you tried calling them? I heard sometimes that can speed things up.

I've tried calling so many times, but I can never get through. It's always busy or I'm on hold forever. šŸ˜« This is so frustrating!

Pro tip: call right when they open. I managed to get through after only 30 minutes on hold that way. Good luck!

I was in the same boat a few months ago. It took about 6 weeks for my status to change from 'pending processing' to 'approved'. Hang in there!

Have you checked if there were any errors in your submission? Sometimes even a small mistake can cause delays. It might be worth double-checking everything.

I've gone over it like a million times, but maybe I'll take another look. Thanks for the suggestion!

This whole system is a joke. They expect us to wait around with no income while they take their sweet time 'processing' our claims. It's not like we have bills to pay or anything šŸ™„

Preach! šŸ™Œ The system is totally broken. We need some serious reforms.

Come on, guys. They're probably just understaffed and overwhelmed. Cut them some slack.

Hey, I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

I was skeptical too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Got through to an agent in about an hour.

Wait, we have to PAY to talk to someone about our benefits now? That's messed up.

@profile 10 I get it, but for me it was worth it to finally get some answers. Beats spending hours on hold myself.

Here's what I've learned from my experience and research about SDI claims and the 'pending processing' status: ā€¢ The average processing time is 14-21 days, but it can take up to 6-8 weeks in some cases. ā€¢ If you've resubmitted forms, it might reset the processing clock. ā€¢ Common reasons for delays include: - Missing information on forms - Discrepancies between your info and your employer's - High volume of claims - System glitches (yes, it happens) What you can do: 1. Double-check all your submitted info for accuracy 2. Contact your employer to ensure they've submitted their part correctly 3. Keep trying to call - early morning is usually best 4. Consider reaching out to your local state representative's office. They sometimes can help expedite claims. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up!

Wow, thank you so much for this detailed info! This is really helpful. I'll definitely try contacting my employer to make sure everything's correct on their end.

Great advice! I'd add that keeping a log of all your calls and attempts to resolve the issue can be helpful if you need to escalate the case later.

Just wanted to say hang in there, OP. This process can be super stressful, but it will get resolved eventually. Don't forget to take care of yourself while you're dealing with all this bureaucratic nonsense. ā¤ļø
