Need help with doctor's letter for EDD certification - what to include?
Hey everyone, I need to submit a doctor's letter for certification. Anyone have experience with this? What should I make sure to include?

I've been through this before. Make sure your doctor's letter has these key things: • Your diagnosis • Treatment plan • Expected recovery time Those are the big ones they look for. Also, make sure it's signed and dated by your doctor. They're sticklers for that stuff.

•This is great advice! I'd also add to make sure the letter is on official letterhead. They rejected mine the first time cuz it wasn't 🙄

•It took about 2 weeks for me, but I've heard it can vary. Hang in there!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone about this. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•I get the skepticism, but it seriously saved me hours of frustration. Worth every penny IMO.

Make sure you keep a copy of everything you send them. I learned that the hard way when they "lost" my paperwork 🤦♂️

•As long as it has all the important info, should be fine. But clearer is always better with these bureaucrats lol

pro tip: if ur doctor uses electronic records, ask them to generate a summary report. usually hits all the points they need and looks v official
