How long for EDD SDI payment to appear on debit card after payment shows on website?

It usually takes 24-48 hours for funds to appear on your BofA EDD card after the payment shows as processed on the SDI Online portal. First payments sometimes take a bit longer than subsequent ones. If this is your first payment, they might have sent you a new card that could still be in the mail - you won't see the funds until you activate the card. Have you received and activated your card yet?

If you've already waited more than 3 business days and the money hasn't appeared, I would recommend calling EDD directly. Sometimes there can be a technical glitch between their payment system and Bank of America. When I had a similar issue last year, I had to call them to resolve it. They found that my address had a typo which was causing the payment to be held up. Calling EDD directly is usually a nightmare though - busy signals and hours on hold. This ALWAYS happens with EDD!!! The website says one thing but the money isn't there for DAYS sometimes. The whole system is broken. They expect us to survive while they take their sweet time processing everything. I had to borrow money from my parents last time because my rent was due and the payment was "processing" for A WEEK!!

Have you checked if the payment might be going to a different card? My husband's disability claim got messed up because they sent the money to an old card from when he was on unemployment two years earlier. We had to call and have them reissue the payment to his new card. It was a whole thing with bank of america and edd each blaming the other. So frustrating.

dont worry it will come. my payments always hit my card a day or 2 after it shows on the website. sometimes if its a weekend it takes till monday. first payment took the longest like 3 days.

Quick update check: Has the payment appeared on your card yet? If it's been more than 3 business days and still nothing, you should definitely contact EDD to make sure everything is properly set up with your Bank of America card.
