EDD website not showing claim ID after doctor submission - what to do?

Ugh, I feel your pain! 😫 I had the same issue last month. It's so frustrating when you're trying to do everything right and the system just doesn't work. Have you tried calling EDD directly? It might take forever to get through, but sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

Have you double-checked with your doctor's office? Sometimes there can be a mix-up on their end. I had a similar issue and it turned out my doc's assistant had typed in the wrong info 🤦‍♂️

The EDD system is such a joke tbh. It's like they're stuck in the stone age or smthn. You'd think with all the taxes we pay, they could at least have a functioning website 🙄

Here's what you need to do: 1. Contact your doctor's office and confirm they submitted the correct information. Get the exact date they sent it. 2. Call EDD (I know, easier said than done) and ask them to check if they received the doctor's submission. Sometimes there's a lag in their system. 3. If EDD says they don't have it, ask your doctor to resubmit. 4. Keep a paper trail of everything - dates, names of who you spoke to, etc. 5. If it's been more than 10 business days since your doctor submitted and still no claim ID, file a complaint with EDD. 6. As a last resort, contact your local state representative. Have you checked your spam folder? Sometimes EDD emails end up there. Just throwing it out there cuz it happened to me once 🤷‍♀️
