EDD: Submitted disability form, no confirmation, nothing in online account. What to do?
Hey everyone, I'm having an issue with my disability check. I submitted the form but didn't get any confirmation. I checked my online account and there's nothing there about it. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do when I talk to an agent about this?

Ugh, I've been there. The system is so frustrating! When you talk to an agent, make sure to mention that you submitted the form but didn't get any confirmation. Ask them to check if they received it and what the status is. Sometimes things get lost in their system, so it's important to follow up.

Yep, this is solid advice. I had to do this last month and it turned out they had my form but it was stuck in processing limbo 🙄

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I get the skepticism, but after spending hours trying to get through, it was worth it for me. Saved me a ton of time and stress.

Can confirm, I used it last week. Expensive but beats wasting an entire day on hold.

Here's what you need to do: 1. Document everything. Write down when you submitted the form, what time, and if possible, take screenshots. 2. Call the disability office first thing in the morning. Their lines are usually less busy then. 3. When you get an agent, be polite but firm. Explain your situation clearly. 4. Ask them to check their system for your submission. If they can't find it, ask about resubmitting. 5. Get the agent's name and a reference number for the call. 6. If they can't help, ask to speak to a supervisor. 7. After the call, send a follow-up email summarizing what was discussed. 8. Check your online account daily for updates. 9. If you don't see any progress in a week, call again. Remember, persistence is key. Don't let them give you the runaround. Good luck!

I'm dealing with the exact same issue rn. It's been 3 weeks and still nothing. This system is a joke 🤡

Pro tip: if you can, go to your local office in person. I know its a pain, but I got my issue resolved in one day after weeks of phone tag.

Anyone else notice that the website is always "under maintenance" when you actually need to use it? 🙄
