EDD: Sent all required docs weeks ago, still no payment. What now?
I filled out all the forms and sent in my personal information like ID and proof of address to EDD, but I still haven't received my payment. It's been weeks and I'm getting worried. Has anyone else experienced this? What should I do next?

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. It's so frustrating! I sent everything they asked for like a month ago and still radio silence. The waiting game is killing me 😫

•Have you tried calling them? Sometimes that's the only way to get answers.

•I've been trying but can never get through. It's like hitting a brick wall every time 🧱

•Pro tip: call right when they open. That's how I finally got someone on the line!

Here's what worked for me after weeks of no progress: 1. Double-check all your documents are correct and legible 2. Send a follow-up email referencing your claim number 3. If possible, upload documents to your online account 4. Keep a log of all communication attempts 5. Be persistent but polite when you do reach someone It took about 3 weeks after I did all this, but I finally got my payment. Don't give up!

•This is really helpful, thanks for sharing! Did you have to call them at all during this process?

•I did end up calling, but only after I had done everything else. It definitely helped speed things up once I got through.

I found a method to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video explaining it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

•$20 just to make a phone call? That's ridiculous. The system is so broken 🤦♂️

•I know it sounds crazy, but I was desperate. It actually worked for me and saved me hours of frustration. Worth it IMO.

•I tried it too. Felt weird paying but man, the relief of finally talking to someone was worth every penny.

This happened to me last year. Turns out there was a small discrepancy between my ID and the address I provided. Double-check everything matches EXACTLY.

The EDD system is a joke. They're probably using computers from the stone age to process our claims. No wonder it takes forever 🙄

•For real tho. My grandma could process these claims faster with an abacus 😂

•It's not just old tech, it's understaffing too. They're drowning in claims and can't keep up.

Has anyone tried contacting their local representative? I've heard sometimes they can help push things along with EDD.

•I did this! It took about a week, but my rep's office got back to me and helped escalate my claim. Def worth a shot.
