EDD Payment Issues: Last 2 Payments Missing, Can't Reach Human Agent

Ugh, I feel your pain. EDD is such a nightmare to deal with. Have you tried checking your claim status online? Sometimes there's info there that might explain the delay.

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! I used this site called claimyr.com. It's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to your phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's what I've learned from dealing with EDD for the past 6 months: 1. Be persistent. Call every day if you have to. 2. Check your UI Online account regularly for updates or messages. 3. Make sure all your certifications are up to date. 4. If you get through to someone, ask them to notate your account. 5. Consider contacting your local assembly member's office. They can sometimes help push things through. 6. Keep all your documents organized in case they ask for additional proof. 7. Don't give up! The system is frustrating but keep at it. Anyone else notice that payments seem to come through faster if you certify right at midnight when the system updates? Or am I just imagining things?
