EDD Missing Wages Reported 2 Months Ago - Still No Response. What to Do?
Has anyone else been waiting forever to get their missing wages sorted out? I reported some missing wages like 2 months ago and sent in all my W-2s and ID verification stuff. Still haven't heard a peep back. My disability is over now, but I'm really hoping I can still get that money I lost. Anyone know how long this usually takes or if there's anything else I can do?

Ugh, I feel your pain. I've been dealing with the same issue for THREE months now. It's like they just throw our paperwork into a black hole or something. Have you tried calling them? That's what I did after waiting for ages.

•I've tried calling but can never get through. It's so frustrating! How did you manage to reach someone?

•It took me like 50 attempts, no joke. I just kept redialing over and over. Eventually got lucky and got put on hold for 2 hours. But at least I finally talked to someone!

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone without the endless redial game. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

•Sounds too good to be true. How does it actually work? Is it legit?

•It's totally legit! You just put in your phone number, and they call you when they get an agent. Saved me hours of frustration.

•$20 just to make a phone call? That's highway robbery! 🤑

•I get it, but think about how much time you waste trying to call yourself. For me, it was worth every penny.

Here's what I've learned from my experience with missing wages: 1. Document everything. Keep copies of all your W-2s, pay stubs, and any correspondence. 2. Follow up regularly. Call or email every week if you have to. 3. Reach out to your local representative. Sometimes they can help push things along. 4. If all else fails, file a formal complaint with the labor board. It's a pain, but persistence is key. Don't let them forget about your case!

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update info there without actually contacting you. Worth a shot!

I'm in the same boat, its been 3 months for me. This whole system is broken af. How are we supposed to survive while they take their sweet time?

•Have you guys tried contacting your state representatives? Sometimes they can light a fire under the EDD's a**.

Pro tip: If you can, try faxing your documents instead of mailing them. Sounds old school, but I swear it got my claim moving faster.

•What year is it, 1995? 😂 But for real, if it works, it works!

Anyone else notice that ever since they "upgraded" their system, everything's been slower? I miss the old days when you could actually talk to a human without selling your firstborn.
