EDD Letter of Computation - Where to send it?
Hey everyone, I'm trying to send in my letter of computation to EDD but I'm not sure where to send it. They never gave me an address or email. Anyone know where I should send this thing?

I've been there before! Here's the address you need: Employment Development Department PO Box 826880 Sacramento, CA 94280-0001 Hope this helps!

Thank you so much! π This is exactly what I needed. Did you have any issues when you sent yours in?

Nah, it went pretty smooth. Just make sure you keep a copy for your records and maybe send it certified mail if you're paranoid like me lol

Good advice about keeping a copy. I learned that the hard way π

Ugh, typical EDD not giving clear instructions. π I swear they make everything so complicated on purpose.

Quick tip: If you're in a hurry, you might be able to fax it too. I did that once and it worked fine.

What year is it? Who still uses fax? π

Hey guys, I found a method to actually get someone on the phone at EDD. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Sounds too good to be true. Is this legit?

I was skeptical at first too, but I tried it and it actually worked. Saved me hours of frustration.

I get it, but think about how much time you waste trying to get through. For me, it was worth every penny.

I get it, but for me it was worth it. Time is money, and I was wasting whole days trying to get through.

Am I the only one who thinks its ridiculous we have to jump through all these hoops just to get our benefits? The system is broken af π€

Preach! π It's like they're trying to discourage us from claiming what we're entitled to.

Totally agree. We need to push for reform. This isn't working for anyone.

Just a heads up, make sure all your info on the letter is correct before sending. I made a tiny mistake on mine and it delayed my claim by weeks. Double check everything!

Pro tip: Always, ALWAYS keep copies of everything you send to EDD. They've "lost" my documents more times than I can count. π€¦ββοΈ

This! π― I scan everything now and keep a digital folder. Saved my butt a few times.

Has anyone tried emailing instead? I feel like that would be easier to track...

I tried once. It's like shouting into the void. Never got a response. π

Oof, good to know. Guess I'll stick to snail mail then. Thanks for the heads up!

Idk why they make this so complicated. In other states, you can do everything online. California needs to get with the program!

Just a heads up, sometimes the processing time can be pretty long. Don't panic if you don't hear back right away. It took them like 6 weeks to process mine. π΄

6 weeks?! That's insane. How are people supposed to survive while waiting that long?

I know, right? The whole system needs an overhaul. But at least it came through eventually.
