EDD paperwork confusion - Did they receive it? What does the letter mean?
Hey everyone, I'm having trouble figuring out if EDD received my paperwork. I got a letter from them, but I'm not sure what it says about my documents. Has anyone else been in this situation? What should I do next?

Ugh, been there done that. EDD's communication is about as clear as mud. Have you tried logging into your online account? Sometimes they update the status there before sending out letters.

Good idea! The online portal can be a lifesaver. Just make sure you have your login info handy, those security questions are a pain š

I found a way to actually get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

Sounds too good to be true. Has anyone else tried this?

I get the skepticism, but it really did work for me. Saved me hours of frustration.

$20 to actually talk to a human? Might be worth it at this point š©

Pro tip: Keep copies of EVERYTHING you send to EDD. I learned that the hard way when they "lost" my forms twice. š¤¦āāļø

Have you tried faxing your paperwork? I know it sounds like we're back in the 90s, but sometimes it's faster than mail and you can get a confirmation.

Lol faxing? What's next, sending a telegram? š But for real, if it works, it works!

Listen up, folks. I've been dealing with EDD for years, and here's what you need to know: ā¢ Always keep copies of everything you send them. Everything. ā¢ Use certified mail when sending important documents. ā¢ Check your online account regularly for updates. ā¢ If you get a letter you don't understand, call them ASAP. Don't wait. ā¢ Keep a log of all your interactions with EDD, including dates and names of reps you talk to. ā¢ If all else fails, contact your local state representative. They can sometimes cut through the red tape. Remember, persistence is key. Don't give up!

Anyone else feel like dealing with EDD is a full-time job in itself? š

For real! I spend more time on hold with EDD than I did at my actual job š
