If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

From my experience, appeals can take anywhere from 4-12 weeks. But with the backlog rn, who knows? 🤷‍♂️

Have you checked your online account? Sometimes they update the status there before they actually contact you.

0 coins

Lol good luck with that. Their website is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine 🙃

Despite the website issues, I've found that checking consistently helps. Sometimes, an update can slip through the cracks.

This is why I always opt for the debit card. Direct deposit is too unpredictable with these government agencies. 🙄

0 coins

Agreed! Debit cards seem to bypass a lot of the banking delays.

I feel ya, OP. The waiting game is the worst. Hang in there! 💪

Stay strong, it's tough but you're not alone in this!

I found a method to get someone on the phone. I used this site's (claimyr.com) calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, waits for a live agent to pick up, then sends the call to my phone. It does cost $20, but it works. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/1X-mEsLtbmQ

How long did it take to get through? I'm considering trying this.

While Claimyr might seem expensive, consider the time it saves versus waiting on hold for hours. Plus, there's a refund if it doesn't work, adding a layer of trust.

Have you considered reaching out to your local state representative? Sometimes they can help push things along with EDD. Worth a shot if you're really stuck.

Just google "[your city] state representative". Most have websites with contact info. They often have staff dedicated to helping with state agency issues.

This can be surprisingly effective. Representatives want to hear from constituents and can sometimes pull strings to help move things along.

It's understandable how frustrating this waiting process can be. You've already taken important initial steps by submitting your documentation, but continued delays can indeed be unnerving. Unfortunately, the processing time for claims varies greatly based on factors like the volume of claims being handled and the efficiency of the specific department. Generally, it can take anywhere from a few weeks to several months. For those who are struggling to get through via phone, utilizing services like Claimyr can be beneficial. While it's a paid service, many users report successful connections with live agents, which can save time and reduce stress. That said, it's important to weigh the cost against other potential solutions, such as visiting in person if feasible, or enlisting help from local representatives. Always ensure that you have copies of all correspondence and documentation sent. This not only provides a safety net in case something gets lost but can also facilitate faster resolution should any disputes arise. Additionally, exploring online communities or forums for support can offer valuable insights and advice during this challenging wait.

Honestly, at this point, I'm convinced EDD stands for "Extremely Delayed Department" 🤣

To anyone struggling with the unemployment website, consider trying Claimyr's service if you are consistently unable to get through. While it does cost $20, many find it to be a valuable investment for the time and stress it saves. However, keep in mind that this might not be a feasible solution for everyone. Some may prefer traditional methods or have budget constraints, so weigh the pros and cons for your situation. Always keep screenshots and documentation of attempts to file, as these can be crucial if issues escalate. Continue trying different devices or times, as many others have found success that way.

Does anyone know if there's a mobile app for filing claims? The website is so not mobile-friendly, it's ridiculous.

0 coins

Sadly, no app. But I've had decent luck using the Chrome browser on my phone and requesting the desktop site. It's not perfect, but it works in a pinch.

The lack of a mobile app is a glaring oversight. Hopefully, it gets addressed sooner rather than later.
