Has anyone here successfully transitioned from WC to SDI and then to PFL? I'm curious about the timeline and if there were any hiccups along the way.
Nah, it was pretty smooth sailing. Just make sure your dates are clear on all your paperwork. And don't be afraid to bug them if somethings not right!
idk about the legal stuff, but congrats on the baby! 🎈👶 hope everything works out for you
The whole system is broken af. We shouldn't have to jump through so many hoops to get help when we're struggling. eat the rich lol
I work in HR and deal with disability claims sometimes. Happy to answer any specific questions if you have them!
That's so kind of you! I might take you up on that offer as I navigate this process.
Hey OP, don't forget to ask about any waiting periods! Some claims have a week or two before benefits kick in. Caught me off guard when I filed 😓
Pro tip: if you're having issues with your continued claim, double-check that you've reported all your work and earnings correctly. Sometimes small mistakes can cause big headaches.
yall ever think about how wild it is that we're all just sittin here, tryna get money from the government, and they make it harder than getting into fort knox? 😂 we're all just clowns in the unemployment circus 🤡🎪

Sometimes the checks get lost in the mail. It happened to me once. You might want to ask EDD about getting a replacement check issued.

idk if this helps but I switched to direct deposit and haven't had any issues since. Might be worth looking into for the future
