CalFresh benefits are loaded onto your EBT card based on the last digit of your case number. Benefits are typically available between the 1st and 10th of each month. If the 10th is your day, they should be loaded by midnight tonight. You can check your balance by calling the number on the back of your card or using the BenefitsCal app.

In my experience, they usually load overnight between 11pm-4am on your scheduled day. I'm also a 10th person, and I've checked as late as 2am and nothing, then woke up at 6am and it was there. Each county might have slightly different processing times though.

•WRONG!!! This is completely false information and shouldn't be trusted. Benefits are loaded EXACTLY at 12:01am on your benefit day. I've been on CalFresh for 7 years and have NEVER had it delayed past 12:01am unless there was a system outage. Stop giving people bad information!!!

The official information is that benefits are deposited on your assigned day based on the last digit of your case number (0=10th, 1=1st, etc.). However, there's no guaranteed time of day. Most counties process their benefit uploads in overnight batches, so typically they're available early morning of your benefit day. If your benefits aren't showing up by tomorrow morning, you should contact your county office. Keep in mind they might be delayed if there was a holiday or system maintenance.

When I had this same problem last month, I used Claimyr to get through to a real person at the county office without waiting on hold. You can check it out at claimyr.com - there's even a video showing how it works: https://youtu.be/eZ19FHRETv8?si=_CXnXqNXbLl26WB8. They called the office for me, waited on hold, and then called me when a real person answered. Saved me from being on hold all day and actually got my benefits issue fixed in one call.

•Is this legit? Sounds like you're just promoting some service. Why would anyone pay for something like this when you can just keep calling until you get through?

Off topic but does anyone know if the IRT (Income Reporting Threshold) went up for 2025? I just got a small raise and I'm worried I might be over the limit now and need to report it before my next SAR7. I know this isn't related to benefit deposit times but I don't want to start a whole new thread.

•Yes, the IRT amounts did increase for 2025. For a household of 1, it's around $2,850, for 2 it's about $3,510, and for 3 it's approximately $4,360. These are rough figures - the exact amount should be on your last approval notice. Remember you only need to report before your SAR7 if your income goes over your specific IRT limit.
