How to prove unemployment for Washington ESD - what documentation do they need?
I'm trying to figure out what documentation Washington ESD needs to prove I'm actually unemployed. I got laid off from my construction job 2 weeks ago and filed my initial claim but they're asking for verification. My employer gave me a separation notice but I'm not sure if that's enough. Do I need something else? The Washington ESD website mentions 'proof of unemployment' but doesn't specify exactly what counts. Has anyone been through this verification process recently?

Make sure it includes your last day of work, reason for separation, and employer contact info.
