How long does it take for Washington ESD unemployment to direct deposit after approval?

Mine always comes on Tuesday if I file my weekly claim on Sunday, so yeah about 2 days is normal

Have you tried using Claimyr? I discovered it last month when I was having the same problem. It's at claimyr.com and they actually get you through to real Washington ESD agents. They have a video demo at https://youtu.be/7DieNd3C7zQ that shows how it works. Saved me weeks of frustration trying to get through myself.

If your direct deposit info was accepted when you set it up originally, you shouldn't have any problems. Washington ESD usually catches bank info errors right away.

Four weeks is rough but not unusual lately. Washington ESD seems overwhelmed with the volume of claims they're processing.

This is exactly why I mentioned Claimyr earlier - when you're stuck in adjudication that long, you really need to talk to someone at Washington ESD to find out what's causing the delay. Their automated system doesn't tell you much.

You can see the payment history in your Washington ESD account online, but they don't send email notifications about deposits. I just check my bank app.

Yeah, turns out they needed an additional verification form that I never got notified about. Once I submitted it, my claim was approved within a few days.
