If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Thanks for posting this question! I'm in the same boat and this thread answered all my questions about where to apply online. Really appreciate everyone sharing their experiences.

No problem! Glad it helped someone else too. Good luck with your application!

One thing I wish someone had told me - make sure you apply for the right type of benefits. There's regular unemployment and then there's stuff like standby pay for certain situations. I applied for the wrong one initially and had to start over.

0 coins

How do you know which type to apply for?

0 coins

Regular unemployment is for most people who lost their job through no fault of their own. Standby is more specific for temporary layoffs where you expect to be called back. The application should guide you but it's good to understand the difference.

Just remember that once your first payment comes through, the subsequent ones should be much more predictable. Usually every week like clockwork if you keep filing your claims on time.

0 coins

That's what I'm hoping for. I just need to get through this initial waiting period and then hopefully it becomes routine.

0 coins

Exactly. The first payment is always the hardest because you don't know what to expect. After that it's pretty straightforward.

0 coins

Sending good vibes! Hope you see that payment soon. The waiting game is brutal but you're doing everything right by staying on top of your weekly claims.

Thank you! This whole thread has been so helpful. At least now I know what to expect and that other people have been through the same thing.

That's what these forums are for! We're all just trying to navigate the system together.

The worst part is not being able to get any real information about timeline or status. Washington ESD's customer service is practically non-existent.

0 coins

This is why services like Claimyr exist - because the regular system is so broken that people are willing to pay just to talk to someone.

0 coins

At this point I'm considering it. Anything to get some actual information about what's happening with my claim.

0 coins

Update us when you hear something! I'm curious to see if your timeline matches the typical 2-3 weeks.

0 coins

Will do! Hoping to have good news by next week. Thanks everyone for all the helpful info.

0 coins

Good luck! The waiting is the hardest part but most claims do get approved eventually.

One more thing - make sure you're actively job searching even while your good cause claim is being reviewed. Washington ESD still requires that you be able and available for work.

0 coins

Good point! I need to keep track of my job search activities regardless of what happens with my current situation.

0 coins

Exactly. And make sure you're registering with WorkSource Washington too - that's a requirement for maintaining benefits.

0 coins

Final thought - if you do decide to quit, write a formal resignation letter that clearly states your reasons and keep copies of everything. That documentation could be crucial if Washington ESD questions your good cause later.

0 coins

Both, and keep copies of when you sent them. Email with read receipts is ideal for creating a paper trail.

0 coins

Great advice. The more documentation you have, the stronger your case will be during the Washington ESD review process.

0 coins

For anyone still struggling with this, remember that Washington ESD's job search requirements can be found in your eligibility interview notes. Review those periodically to make sure you're still meeting all conditions.

0 coins

Where do I find those notes in my account? I don't remember seeing them.

0 coins

They should be under your eligibility determination documents. If you can't find them, that's another good reason to call and ask for clarification.

just want to say thanks to everyone who shared advice here. this community is way more helpful than the official washington esd website
