Just remember that once your first payment comes through, the subsequent ones should be much more predictable. Usually every week like clockwork if you keep filing your claims on time.
Sending good vibes! Hope you see that payment soon. The waiting game is brutal but you're doing everything right by staying on top of your weekly claims.
The worst part is not being able to get any real information about timeline or status. Washington ESD's customer service is practically non-existent.
This is why services like Claimyr exist - because the regular system is so broken that people are willing to pay just to talk to someone.
One more thing - make sure you're actively job searching even while your good cause claim is being reviewed. Washington ESD still requires that you be able and available for work.
Final thought - if you do decide to quit, write a formal resignation letter that clearly states your reasons and keep copies of everything. That documentation could be crucial if Washington ESD questions your good cause later.
For anyone still struggling with this, remember that Washington ESD's job search requirements can be found in your eligibility interview notes. Review those periodically to make sure you're still meeting all conditions.

One thing I wish someone had told me - make sure you apply for the right type of benefits. There's regular unemployment and then there's stuff like standby pay for certain situations. I applied for the wrong one initially and had to start over.

•How do you know which type to apply for?

•Regular unemployment is for most people who lost their job through no fault of their own. Standby is more specific for temporary layoffs where you expect to be called back. The application should guide you but it's good to understand the difference.
