If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Based on everyone's responses, it sounds like the sweet spot is somewhere between doing the bare minimum and what you're doing now. Maybe aim for 3-4 hours of quality job searching per day instead of 6-8?

Yeah that seems like a good balance. I'm going to try scaling back and see if I'm actually more effective.

0 coins

Exactly. You want to be productive but not burn yourself out. It's a marathon, not a sprint.

One last thing - if you do need to call Washington ESD about anything, definitely try that Claimyr service people mentioned. I used it last week and actually got through to someone in like 10 minutes instead of waiting on hold for hours.

0 coins

Noted! I'll definitely give it a try. Thanks for all the advice everyone, this has been really helpful.

Glad I could help! The video demo really shows how much easier it makes contacting Washington ESD.

The good news is that once you're approved and getting the maximum benefit, the payments are pretty reliable. I got mine every Tuesday like clockwork for the whole 26 weeks.

0 coins

That's reassuring. I was worried about delays in payments.

0 coins

As long as you keep filing your weekly claims and don't have any issues, the payments should be consistent. Just don't skip filing even if you think you might not be eligible that week.

Bottom line - if you made good money in your last job, you'll probably get close to the maximum. The $999 weekly benefit can really help while you're looking for your next job. Just make sure you follow all the rules and document everything.

Thanks everyone for all the helpful information. This gives me a much better understanding of what to expect when I file my claim.

0 coins

Good luck with your claim! Just remember to file as soon as you become unemployed and keep detailed records of your job search activities.

If all else fails, you might want to contact your state representative's office. Sometimes they can help constituents who are having trouble with state agencies like Washington ESD.

0 coins

That's a good last resort option. Hopefully it won't come to that but good to know.

0 coins

Yeah, they have staff who deal with these kinds of issues regularly. It's part of their constituent services.

0 coins

Good luck getting through! The phone filing process itself is straightforward once you connect with an agent. It's just the getting connected part that's the nightmare.

0 coins

Thanks for all the advice everyone! I'm going to try a few different approaches and see what works best.

0 coins

Hope it works out! And seriously consider that Claimyr option if you keep having trouble - it really does help with the connection issues.

The whole wage credit system needs an overhaul. Too many people get caught in these timing gaps where their recent wages don't count. It's especially hard on people who are just starting their careers or changing jobs.

0 coins

Agreed completely. The system was designed decades ago and doesn't reflect how people actually work nowadays.

0 coins

Exactly - gig economy, contract work, career changes - none of it fits the old quarterly reporting model very well.

One last tip - when you do talk to Washington ESD, ask them to walk through your wage history quarter by quarter. Sometimes there are wages from previous jobs that you forgot about that could help you qualify even under the standard base period.

0 coins

Good point - I did work part-time at a retail job before the warehouse. Maybe those wages count.

LilMama23

Could be just enough to push you over the minimum threshold! Worth asking about for sure.

0 coins

Bottom line: 2-4 weeks is normal for approval, make sure you're filing weekly claims, and don't stress too much if you're still within that timeframe. The system works, it just takes time.

0 coins

This has been incredibly helpful. I feel much better about the whole process now.

Mei Liu

yeah just hang in there, it'll come through

0 coins

Update: I went ahead and filed my weekly claims for the past two weeks. The system let me backdate them without any issues. Thanks everyone for the advice - I'll stop checking my account obsessively now and just wait for the determination letter!

0 coins

You should be all set now. Keep filing those weekly claims and your approval should come through soon.

0 coins

Sounds like you're on the right track! Remember that Claimyr option is there if you need to speak with someone directly about your claim.
