If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

I used Claimyr when I had questions about transitioning from PFL to unemployment benefits and it was super helpful. The rep I talked to knew exactly how to handle my situation and walked me through what to expect. Way better than trying to navigate the phone system alone.

That sounds really useful. I'm definitely going to look into that if I have trouble getting through to Washington ESD.

I'm skeptical of paying for something like that but honestly if it saves hours of being on hold, might be worth it.

0 coins

Bottom line - you can't get both at the same time but you can transition from one to the other if you qualify. Just make sure you follow the rules and document everything.

Perfect summary. Thanks everyone for all the helpful info!

Good luck with everything! Hope it all works out smoothly for you.

Just make sure you keep good records of everything - your work dates, wages, reason for separation, etc. Washington ESD might ask for documentation later and you want to have it ready.

0 coins

What kind of documentation do they usually want?

0 coins

Pay stubs, termination letters, any correspondence with your employer about your separation. Basically anything that proves when you worked and why you left.

Update us on how it goes! I'm curious to hear about the process since I might be in the same situation soon if my company does more layoffs.

Will do! Planning to file this weekend when I have time to gather all my paperwork.

Good luck! Hope it goes smoothly for you.

Just remember that even if you qualify for benefits, you still have to meet the ongoing requirements like job searching and filing weekly claims. The work requirement is just the first hurdle.

0 coins

Yeah I've heard the job search requirements are pretty strict now.

0 coins

They are, but as long as you're actually looking for work and keeping good records it's manageable.

0 coins

Hope this all helped! The main thing is don't let the complexity discourage you from applying if you think you might qualify. Worst case they say no and you know for sure.

Definitely! This thread has been super helpful. Thanks everyone!

Glad we could help. Good luck with everything!

I've noticed if you call right after they come back from lunch around 1:15pm, there's sometimes a brief window where it's easier to get through.

0 coins

When do they typically go to lunch? Is it a set time or does it vary?

0 coins

Seems like most agents go between 12-1pm, so calling right after 1pm might catch them when the queue is lighter.

Just want to confirm the early morning strategy works. Called at 7:59am yesterday and got through to an agent in 12 minutes. She helped me understand why my weekly claim was showing as incomplete.

0 coins

I had forgotten to update my availability for work status after recovering from an illness. Small thing but it was holding up my whole claim.

0 coins

Thanks! I'll double-check all my availability settings. These little details can really trip you up.

Make sure you file your initial claim as soon as possible! The benefit amount is based on when you file, not when you actually lost your job. Every week you wait is money you're losing.

0 coins

I already filed last week, just waiting to hear back about the amount. Good advice though!

0 coins

Bottom line - with your income level you're probably looking at somewhere between $450-550 per week depending on exactly how your quarters worked out. That's pretty typical for someone making around $50k annually.

0 coins

Perfect, that's exactly the range I was hoping for. Thanks everyone for all the helpful info!

You're welcome! Hope your claim gets processed quickly and you find new work soon.
