File your claim today and start your job search immediately. Even if your claim gets approved, you need to show you're actively looking for work. Keep good records of your job search activities.
Hope this all works out for you OP. The unemployment system isn't perfect but if you follow the rules and timing, it usually works eventually.
Been following this thread and wanted to add that if you do run into issues reaching Washington ESD, that Claimyr service people mentioned really does work. Used it last month when I had questions about my claim status and got connected right away.
FINAL UPDATE: Got approved! Benefits start next week. The safety complaint documentation definitely made the difference. For anyone in a similar situation - document everything and don't be afraid to mention retaliation if that's what happened. Thanks again everyone!
The part-time work might also help you build skills or connections that lead to full-time work. That's what happened to me - started part-time at a company and they hired me full-time after 2 months when they saw my work.
Just make sure the part-time job doesn't interfere with any job interviews or opportunities for full-time work. You're still supposed to be actively seeking full-time employment even while working part-time.

For anyone still struggling to get updates on their claims, that Claimyr service has been really helpful for multiple people in this thread. Sometimes you just need to talk to an actual person to understand what's happening with your case, especially during adjudication.

•I might try that. Been trying to call Washington ESD for two weeks to check on my claim status and can never get through.

•Definitely worth checking out. The demo video on their site shows exactly how it works: https://youtu.be/7DieNd3C7zQ

Final update - my claim was approved! Took 4 weeks total but Washington ESD determined that performance issues without documented misconduct don't disqualify you from benefits. Thanks everyone for the advice and support. For anyone in a similar situation, don't give up and make sure to keep filing your weekly claims even during adjudication!
