Social Security direct deposit schedule 2025 + MySocialSecurity login issues
So frustrating! I've been trying to log into my MySocialSecurity account for 3 days now but keep getting 'technical difficulties' messages. I'm mainly trying to check when my SS retirement payment will hit my account this month. I'm new to collecting benefits (just started in January) and can't remember the payment schedule. Does anyone know the 2025 deposit schedule for those with birthdays at the end of the month? Also, any tips on fixing the login issue? I've tried different browsers already.

The Social Security payment schedule for 2025 depends on when you started receiving benefits and your birth date. For retirement benefits: - Born on 1st-10th: Second Wednesday of month - Born on 11th-20th: Third Wednesday of month - Born on 21st-31st: Fourth Wednesday of month If you started receiving benefits before May 1997, you get paid on the 3rd of each month regardless of birthdate. i had the SAME PROBLEM last week!!! the website is ALWAYS down!!! tried calling them and was on hold for 2 HOURS before i gave up. social security administration is a JOKE!!!!

•Calling SSA is the worst. I literally plan a whole day around it because you never know if it'll be 20 minutes or 4 hours on hold. And then half the time they transfer you and you get disconnected!

For the login issues, try these steps: 1. Clear your browser cache completely 2. Use Chrome or Edge (their site doesn't work well with Firefox) 3. Try the "forgot password" option even if you know your password 4. If that fails, you might need to create a new account The site undergoes maintenance every Sunday night, so maybe try again tomorrow. Also, you can try accessing it early morning (6-7am) when traffic is lower.

My sister had this issue last month and it turned out her account got locked because someone tried to access it too many times with the wrong password. She had to call them to unlock it. Just another possibility to consider.

After struggling with the same issue of not being able to get through to SSA on the phone, I found this service called Claimyr that actually worked for me. •Yes, it's legitimate. I was skeptical too but I was desperate after trying for 3 days to get through. They connected me with an actual SSA rep who fixed my issue with missing backpay. Was worth it to not spend hours listening to hold music.

The website goes down all the time lately! I think theyre updating systems or something. My son says its probably because they still use computers from the 90s lol. Anyways i just go to the local office now its faster.

Just a helpful tip - if you need to verify payment dates without logging in, you can also call the automated SSA service at 1-800-772-1213. The automated system can confirm your payment date without needing to speak to a representative. Press 1 for English, then follow prompts for payment information (usually option 3).

I had so many problems with my Social Security account that I just gave up and have everything set up for direct deposit now. I check my bank account instead of their website. Much less stressful! But just so you know, I've found that when they do maintenance on the website, it usually comes back up within 48 hours.

I scheduled my bills around my SS deposit dates! For end of month birthdays (21-31) payments come on 4th Wednesday. April 23, May 28, June 25, July 23, August 27, September 24, October 22, November 26, and December 24 are the 4th Wednesdays for rest of 2025.
