TWC payment timeline after 2/18 processing date - when will money arrive?

I just checked my TWC account and it shows my unemployment claim was 'processed' on February 18th, but I don't see any payment in my account yet. This is my first time filing for unemployment after being laid off from the warehouse where I worked for 3 years. Does anyone know how many days it usually takes for the money to actually hit my bank account after the processing date? I set up direct deposit when I filed. Really need this payment ASAP as I've got rent due next week and I'm cutting it close.

TWC typically deposits funds 2-3 business days after the processing date. Since 2/18 was a Thursday, you should see it in your account by Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Make sure your direct deposit information was entered correctly. You can double-check this in your TWC account under the payment method section. Also worth noting that the first payment sometimes takes a bit longer than subsequent ones.

Thanks for the quick response! That's a relief to hear. I'll check my direct deposit info right now to make sure everything's correct. Do weekends count as business days for TWC processing?

4 days isn't too bad I guess. As long as it's here by Wednesday I'll be good.

Don't get your hopes up too much. My payment from last week STILL hasn't shown up and the TWC website says it was processed on 2/15. I've been trying to call them for 2 days straight and keep getting the busy signal. It's like they don't want us to actually get our money!!! This is the 3rd time this has happened to me since December.

Have you tried using Claimyr to get through to TWC? After dealing with busy signals for a week, I used their service and got connected to a TWC agent in about 20 minutes. They helped me resolve my payment delay issue right away. Check out their demo at https://youtu.be/V-IMvH88P1U?si=kNxmh025COIlIzKh or go to claimyr.com - it seriously saved me so much frustration. The agent told me my payment was held up because of an identity verification flag that wouldn't have resolved without talking to someone.

Payment timing can vary based on several factors:\n\n1. First payments typically take longer (up to 5-7 business days) as they go through additional verification\n2. Regular payments usually deposit 2-3 business days after processing\n3. Bank holidays can delay transfers\n4. Some banks hold deposits for 24 hours\n\nIf your payment doesn't arrive within 5 business days of the processing date, there might be an issue worth investigating. Call TWC at 800-939-6631 or check your Correspondence Inbox for any messages about payment holds.\n\nAlso, make sure you continue submitting your payment requests every two weeks on your assigned day, even if you're waiting on a previous payment.

This is super helpful information! I just checked and don't see any messages in my inbox, so that's good. And thanks for the reminder about continuing to request payments - my next request date is March 2nd.

That sometimes happens if you indicate you worked or earned income during a claim week. The system might think you've returned to full employment. Always answer the questions accurately, but if you see a missed payment request period, definitely call TWC to have it corrected.

Most ppl get deposits in 2-3 business days. Weekends dont count. So if it was processed Thursday you'll probably see it Tuesday. First payment is always the slowest. After this they come pretty regular once you get in the system.

Thanks! That's what I figured about weekends. Guess I'll just have to be patient until Tuesday.

Really appreciate the detailed breakdown! That makes a lot of sense. And sorry to hear about your job loss after 7 years - that must have been tough. I was only at my place for 3 years but it still hit hard.

Just checked - nothing yet. Maybe it's my bank that's slower? I'm with Wells Fargo.
