TWC claim payments not received for 2 weeks - anyone else?
Has anyone else not received their claim payments for the past couple weeks? I'm starting to get worried because I haven't seen any money come through. Is there a delay or something going on with the system? I really need this money to pay my bills and I'm not sure what to do. Any advice or info would be appreciated!

Ugh, I'm in the same boat. Haven't seen a dime for almost 3 weeks now. It's getting ridiculous! š¤ Anyone know what's going on?

Same here! I thought it was just me. This is so frustrating. Bills are piling up and I'm getting desperate.

I heard there was a glitch in the system affecting some claims. Not sure if it's true, but might explain the delay?

A glitch? Great, just what we need. š How long is it gonna take them to fix it? We can't wait forever!

I actually found a way to get through to someone on the phone about this. I used this site called claimyr.com - it's a calling tool that dials the phone menu, stays on hold, and then connects you when a live agent picks up. It costs $20, but it worked for me. Here's a video about it: https://youtu.be/V-IMvH88P1U

Sounds too good to be true. Are you sure it's legit? $20 is a lot when you're already not getting paid.

I've heard of services like this before. How long did you have to wait?

I get the skepticism, but it really did work for me. I waited about 2 hours, but I didn't have to sit there listening to hold music. They called me when an agent was on the line. Totally worth it IMO.

This is getting out of hand. We need to start calling our representatives and making some noise about this. Who's with me?

Hey everyone, I work in IT and I might be able to shed some light on whats going on. There's been a major system upgrade happening over the past few weeks, and it's causing some delays in processing claims. Here's what I know: ā¢ The upgrade is supposed to improve overall system efficiency ā¢ It's affecting about 30% of all claims ā¢ They're working on a fix, but it could take another week or two ā¢ Once fixed, all backlogged payments should be processed I know it sucks, but hang in there. If you're really in a bind, try contacting your local unemployment office directly. Some are offering emergency assistance for those affected by the delay.

Thanks for the info! Do you know if they're gonna pay interest on the delayed payments? It's not fair that we have to wait because of their screw-up.

Unfortunately, I don't have any info on interest payments. You'd have to check with the unemployment office directly about that.

Another week or two?! Some of us can't wait that long. This is ridiculous!

Has anyone tried filing a complaint with the state labor board? Maybe that would light a fire under them to fix this faster.

I did last week, but haven't heard anything back yet. Probably overwhelmed with complaints rn

Pro tip: if you're really struggling, reach out to your landlord and utility companies. Some are offering extensions or payment plans due to the unemployment system issues. It's worth a shot!

This is good advice. I called my electric company and they gave me a 30-day extension, no questions asked.
