PA UC deposit to Money Network card delayed today - anyone else?
Hey all, just wondering if anyone else is having issues with their PA unemployment payment not hitting their Money Network card today? Mine usually posts by 6am every Wednesday but nothing's showed up yet (it's almost 2pm now). Getting worried since I have rent due Friday and can't get through on the phone lines. Is this happening to anyone else or should I be freaking out?

Yep mine is late 2! I file every Sunday and my $ always hits by Tuesday morning. Today NOTHING. Called PA UC and got busy signal 11 times already!!

This happens sometimes. They never announce when there are delays. My sister works for a bank and she said ACH transfers sometimes get delayed for random reasons. I wouldn't worry unless it's not there by tomorrow.

There's actually a system-wide delay with Money Network deposits today. I just got off the phone with a UC rep who confirmed they're aware of the issue. They said all payments should be processed by end of day today, but some might not show up until early tomorrow morning. This is affecting a lot of people, not just UC payments but also other government benefits that use Money Network cards.

They got me through in about 20 minutes when I had been trying for days on my own.

This is why I hate the Money Network card system. When I first got unemployment back in 2020 we could do direct deposit to our regular bank accounts. Then they switched to this stupid card system that ALWAYS has issues. Last month my card was randomly frozen for "suspicious activity" which was literally just me buying groceries. Took 4 days to fix.

•Actually, you can still set up direct deposit to your regular bank account instead of using the Money Network card. Log into your PA UC account, go to Payment Information, and select the Direct Deposit option. You'll need your bank routing and account numbers. Any new payments will go directly to your bank instead of the card after that's set up.

•These system delays are usually one-time issues that get resolved. If your payments normally come consistently on the same day each week, it should go back to normal next week. But as others have suggested, direct deposit to your regular bank might be more reliable than the Money Network card.
