If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

One additional point that might help ease your mind: PA UC regulations (specifically Chapter 65.63) state that when a claimant has earned six times their weekly benefit rate at a new job following a voluntary quit, the voluntary quit is no longer disqualifying. Since you worked at the tech job for 7 months, you've almost certainly met this requirement, which means your resignation from the accounting position shouldn't affect your eligibility. Keep certifying for benefits weekly while waiting for the determination. If approved, you'll receive all back payments for properly certified weeks.

Thank you for citing the specific regulation! I just looked it up and that definitely helps me understand the process better. I've been filing my weekly claims, so hopefully once they resolve the open issue, I'll get all the back payments. Really appreciate everyone's help here!

my cousin works for UC (not saying this to brag lol) and she says they have a HUGE backlog right now because they updated their computer system in March and it's causing all kinds of problems. so prob nothing to do with your specific situation just general incompetence

0 coins

OMG that makes so much sense!! My claim was stuck for 3 weeks and then suddenly approved with no explanation. The whole system is a MESS.

Thanks for the insider info! That's actually comforting to know it might just be system issues rather than something wrong with my particular claim. I'll try to be more patient.

Listen everyone keeps talking about your HEARING but nobody's addressing your OPEN ISSUES question. After 9 weeks you need to be AGGRESSIVE about getting those fixed. Call your state rep like someone mentioned AND call UC every single day. I had to call 57 times in one day before getting through. The open issues won't magically disappear even if you win your appeal.

0 coins

You're right, I'm definitely worried about both issues. I've called so many times and either get a busy signal or get disconnected after waiting. It's so frustrating! I'll try my state rep right after the hearing.

Anyone know if the UC office is closed on Monday too? I was planning to call about my work search requirement question since I have a potential job interview coming up.

0 coins

Yes, the UC service centers will be closed on Monday for the holiday. But good news - job interviews definitely count toward your work search activities! Make sure to document the employer name, date, and contact information for your records. Good luck with the interview!

my friend said early deposits happen when they're doing system upgrades too

0 coins

That's actually not correct. Early deposits only happen for banking holidays. System upgrades might cause delays, but never early payments. The PA Treasury follows a strict payment schedule except for holidays. Just wanted to clarify so nobody gets confused about their payment patterns!

Used Claimyr last week to get through to UC after trying for days on my own. Got connected in about 20 minutes. The agent found that my payment method kept switching because there was an employer protest on my account that wasn't visible to me in the portal. She fixed it and released my last 3 payments that had been stuck. Worth trying if you're desperate!

is this claimyr thing legit? seems sketchy tbh letting some website call unemployment for u

0 coins

@casual_commenter It's actually legit - they don't access your UC account or anything. They just keep calling the PA UC number until they get through to a human, then call you and connect you. It's basically paying someone else to do the endless redialing we all hate.

Update: I finally got through to someone at UC! They found the problem - my employer reported different wages than I did which triggered a review. That's why some payments went to card instead of bank (system default during reviews) and why some were held completely. They're releasing my back payments this week! Such a relief.

One more important thing: Once you do file, you'll need to file biweekly claims (not weekly like some states). PA UC requires you to file every two weeks to certify you're still eligible. Make sure you do this even if your initial claim is still pending or has issues. You can't go back and file these later if you miss them. Also, for your work search requirements, keep detailed records of all activities - PA requires you to do this even if they don't ask for the records immediately.

0 coins

This is super helpful info. I didn't realize the claims were biweekly in PA. And thanks for the tip about keeping detailed work search records - I'll set up a spreadsheet to track everything from day one.

Based on what you've shared, you should be in good shape for a new claim. The fact that your previous disqualification was within a benefit year that has already ended means it won't affect your new claim. Just make sure you understand that there might still be a week waiting period before benefits begin, so plan your finances accordingly. Good luck with your job search!

Thank you! That's a good reminder about the waiting week - I'll make sure to budget for that gap.
