If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Will do! I'm going to try both the state rep route and the forms that the former examiner suggested. Something has to work eventually!

Quick update on timing - I've been hearing from other claimants that PA UC is dealing with a bigger backlog than usual right now. Appeals that used to take 4-6 weeks are now taking 8-10 weeks in many cases. Calling probably won't speed things up, but if you're experiencing financial hardship, you can note that on your appeal and request expedited processing. No guarantees, but sometimes it helps. Also, while waiting for your appeal, check if you might qualify for other assistance programs like SNAP benefits or emergency rental assistance through your county.

Thank you for mentioning this. I'll look into those other programs right away. Do you know if winning my appeal would affect eligibility for other benefits?

To answer your latest question - receiving unemployment backpay could potentially affect your eligibility for income-based assistance programs, but it depends on the specific program rules. Many assistance programs understand that UC benefits are temporary, so they may prorate the impact. Regarding your original question about the bankruptcy - one more important thing to know is that you should gather any documentation showing you were laid off rather than fired for misconduct. Things like: - Any written layoff notice - Email communications about workforce reduction - Pay stubs showing consistent work until termination - Statements from coworkers (if possible) - Any positive performance reviews Even though the employer won't likely show up, having this documentation will strengthen your case tremendously.

This is really helpful! I do have an email from my manager mentioning "staff reductions" and my last two performance reviews were positive. I'll make sure to have those ready for the hearing.

i switched from debit card to direct deposit last month after i got my first payment. u need to wait til u get a payment number first, then u can change it in ur account settings. but honestly it doesnt matter for ur first payment - that will still go on the card no matter what. they wont use ur old bank info from years ago, thats all deleted when ur benefit year ends.

This is actually incorrect info. You CAN change your payment method before your first payment processes if you call quickly enough. I did this in March and got my first payment via direct deposit. But you have to get through to an agent, which is the hard part.

Just as an update - I checked my account this morning and the payment number finally appeared! Now waiting on the card to arrive. Thanks everyone for your help and advice with this.

Great news! Now just keep an eye on your mailbox for that Money Network card. And don't forget you can switch to direct deposit for future payments once you have access to your online account.

The most direct way to update your banking information is through the Treasury Direct Deposit Enrollment form (PWOA-2). Here's the exact process: 1. Download the form from www.patreasury.gov/ucpayments 2. Complete all fields (use ink, not pencil) 3. You must include a voided check or bank letter verifying your account details 4. Mail to: PA Treasury, 651 Boas Street, Room 400, Harrisburg, PA 17121 Alternatively, you can use the Treasury Direct portal at https://direct.patreasury.gov but you'll need to create an account first. Processing time is typically 7-10 business days from receipt of your documents.

This is super helpful but just a small correction - the website is actually www.patreasury.gov/uc-payments (with a hyphen). I just checked it today.

Thank you so much for this detailed info! I'll download the form right now. Do you know if there's any way to expedite the process since I'm already missing payments?

OP did u ever get this figured out? im curious cuz im about to change banks myself

0 coins

Yes! I ended up using the Claimyr service to get through to a real person at PA UC. The agent was able to verify my identity and update my banking info while I was on the phone. My payment should hit my new account next week. The Treasury form is also an option but takes longer.

Thanks everyone for your responses! I'm feeling more optimistic now, though still a bit nervous. Just to update - I checked my dashboard this morning and it still shows the appeal as "pending" with no payments released yet. I'll definitely keep filing my weekly claims. Does anyone know how long it typically takes for the referee's decision to show up in the system after the hearing?

0 coins

In my experience, you'll get the decision letter in the mail before anything changes in the system. It took about 5-7 days for me to get the letter, and then my online dashboard updated about 2 days after that. Once it updates, the payments usually process within 48 hours if you've been filing consistently.

That's really helpful to know, thank you! I'll keep an eye on my mailbox.

my hearing was last month and it took like 8 days to get the letter so dont worry if it takes a while!!
