If I could give 10 stars I would

If I could give 10 stars I would If I could give 10 stars I would Such an amazing service so needed during the times when EDD almost never picks up Claimyr gets me on the phone with EDD every time without fail faster. A much needed service without Claimyr I would have never received the payment I needed to support me during my postpartum recovery. Thank you so much Claimyr!

Really made a difference

Really made a difference, save me time and energy from going to a local office for making the call.

Worth not wasting your time calling for hours.

Was a bit nervous or untrusting at first, but my calls went thru. First time the wait was a bit long but their customer chat line on their page was helpful and put me at ease that I would receive my call. Today my call dropped because of EDD and Claimyr heard my concern on the same chat and another call was made within the hour.

An incredibly helpful service

An incredibly helpful service! Got me connected to a CA EDD agent without major hassle (outside of EDD's agents dropping calls – which Claimyr has free protection for). If you need to file a new claim and can't do it online, pay the $ to Claimyr to get the process started. Absolutely worth it!

Consistent,frustration free, quality Service.

Used this service a couple times now. Before I'd call 200 times in less than a weak frustrated as can be. But using claimyr with a couple hours of waiting i was on the line with an representative or on hold. Dropped a couple times but each reconnected not long after and was mission accomplished, thanks to Claimyr.

IT WORKS!! Not a scam!

I tried for weeks to get thru to EDD PFL program with no luck. I gave this a try thinking it may be a scam. OMG! It worked and They got thru within an hour and my claim is going to finally get paid!! I upgraded to the $60 call. Best $60 spent!

Another thing to check - log into your portal and look at the "Payment Information" section. Does it show your weekly benefit amount (WBA) calculated correctly? And check your claim status to make sure it doesn't say you need to complete ID verification or something else before payment. Sometimes they approve the reason for separation but there's STILL other hoops to jump through!!! 😡

Just checked - my WBA shows $435 which seems right based on my previous salary. No messages about ID verification that I can see. Claim status just says "Active" now instead of "Pending" like before.

Since your claim status is "Active" and your WBA is calculated, that's a good sign everything is in order. Typically, payments should process within 2-3 business days after approval, but with 18 weeks of backpay, it might take a bit longer. The system processes large backpay amounts through an additional review sometimes, which can add a few days. If you don't see anything by early next week, that's when I would definitely try to reach someone by phone.

UPDATE: Just checked my account this morning and the money is there!!! All 18 weeks paid at once. Thank you everyone for your help and advice!

That's amazing news Emma! So happy for you! 🎉 It must be such a relief after all those months of stress. Your story gives me hope - I'm still waiting on my appeal decision but seeing that PA UC does eventually come through helps keep me going.

UPDATE: My first check came today, took 8 days from when it was issued. For anyone dealing with this in the future - they do show the payment date online, but not the actual mail date. Signing up for USPS Informed Delivery like someone suggested was super helpful! Now I just need to figure out how to get back to direct deposit eventually.

Glad you got your check! To switch back to direct deposit, you need to wait until the fraud hold expires (typically 6 weeks), then call and specifically request to be switched back. Make sure you have your banking information ready when you call. It took me about 3 calls to finally get someone who could help with this.

So glad to see your update that the check arrived! 8 days isn't too bad considering some of the horror stories people share. I'm dealing with the same situation right now - got switched to paper checks last week due to a "security review" on my account. Been checking my mailbox obsessively every day lol. Did you have to do anything special when you deposited the check, or was it just like depositing any other check? Some people told me UC checks can be tricky at certain banks.

Glad to hear it came through! For future reference, you can always check the status of your payments by going to the UC dashboard and looking under 'Payment History.' It will show whether a payment has been processed, the method (direct deposit or Money Network card), and the date it was issued. This can be helpful for tracking when to expect funds in the future.

Thanks for the tip! I found the Payment History section and it's showing everything correctly now. Really appreciate everyone's help!

Great to see this worked out for you Jessica! Just wanted to add for anyone else reading this - if you're ever worried about your payment status, you can also set up text alerts through the PA UC system. They'll send you notifications when payments are processed and when there are any issues with your claim. It's been super helpful for me to know exactly when to expect money without having to constantly check the website. Also, keep all your payment confirmations and screenshots just in case there are any discrepancies later!

After reading through all the comments, I wanted to mention that when my hearing was finally scheduled, it was by telephone due to the backlog. Make sure your phone number is correct in the system, and be prepared to answer when they call - even if it shows as an unknown or blocked number. They're very strict about being available at the scheduled time, and if you miss the call, it can further delay your case.

That's a good tip about answering unknown calls. I've been ignoring those lately because of all the spam calls I get. I'll make sure my phone number is updated in the system too.

I'm in the exact same boat - filed my appeal in December after being wrongfully denied (employer falsely claimed misconduct) and it's been radio silence since then. The stress is unreal, especially with rent and utilities piling up. One thing I learned from calling around is that you can also try reaching out to your local legal aid society - some offer free help with UC appeals and can sometimes get better responses from the system than we can as individuals. Also, if you have any coworkers who witnessed your layoff or have knowledge of the circumstances, start getting their contact info now in case you need them as witnesses for your hearing. Hang in there - from what everyone's saying it sounds like 4+ months is unfortunately the new normal, but at least there's light at the end of the tunnel!

Off topic but anybody know if Pennsylvania is keeping the work search requirements at 2 activities per week? I heard a rumor they might increase it to 3 but couldn't find anything on the UC website about changes for 2025.

The work search requirement remains at 2 verifiable work search activities per week through 2025. There was discussion about increasing it last year, but the proposal wasn't implemented. Always document your work search activities carefully - many claims get flagged for audit on this requirement.

I've been on PA UC for about 6 months now and can confirm - never once got a weekend deposit on my Money Network card. The system is pretty rigid about business days only. Your best bet is always to plan for Tuesday/Wednesday deposits if you file on Sunday/Monday. It's frustrating when you're in a tight spot like this, but at least your landlord is being understanding! That's honestly the best outcome you could hope for in this situation.
