Which New York Unemployment office location actually helps? Queens is terrible
Been trying Queens unemployment office for weeks and they are completely useless. Anyone know which office in New York state actually helps people? I'll drive anywhere at this point just to get my claim sorted out. Queens keeps giving me the runaround and nobody seems to know what they're doing.

Albany office is decent but you gotta get there super early like 6am. Still better than waiting forever in Queens.

•Albany is hit or miss tbh. Went there last week and waited 4 hours just to be told to call the hotline 🤡

Hey I found a way to actually get someone on the phone! Used this service called Claimyr (claimyr.com) - costs $20 but they handle the calling and hold time then connect you to an agent. Way better than driving around. Check out their demo: https://youtu.be/Rdqa1gKtxuE

•100% legit, saved me so much time. They just do the hold time for you

Syracuse office actually helped me get everything fixed in one visit. The lady there was super nice and actually knew what she was doing 🙏

Dont waste ur time going to any office fr. They all just gonna tell u to call the main number or check the website. Its all centralized now.

Buffalo office was decent when I went last month. But you NEED to bring ALL your documents. They super strict about that

•ID, SSN card, all pay stubs, separation letter. Better to bring extra than not enough

Listen up yall - forget about physical offices. Best way is to get someone on the phone using claimyr.com. Costs a bit but better than driving around the state. They dial in, navigate the menu, wait on hold (sometimes hours), then call you when they get a real person. Been helping loads of people on this sub. Physical offices barely have any power to help nowadays anyway - its all about getting through to the main call center.
