New York Unemployment: Can't access 2020 1099-G tax form, keeps asking to create new account

Same thing happened to me! The old NY.gov login system got completely changed. You have to create a new ID.me account first, then once you get in, go to the 1099-G section. Its annoying but thats the only way now.

You can also request it by mail if the website keeps giving you problems. Just send a letter with your info to NYSDOL tax document request unit. Takes like 2-3 weeks tho.
