Look, I've been trying to get through to someone at the IRS for days now. I'm a freelancer with a specific question about my quarterly payments that I can't figure out from their website. I need a direct number that actually works to speak with a real person. The general number just keeps me in an endless loop of automated messages. Has anyone successfully gotten through recently? What number worked for you?
