Ways to check if IRS accepted my tax return - Transcript or WMR?

Filed my taxes last week and want to make sure the IRS got them. Is there a way to check if they were accepted? I tried Where's My Refund but it just says processing. Getting kinda nervous since I'm expecting a decent refund this year.

There are several ways to check: 1) Where's My Refund tool on IRS.gov 2) Create an IRS account and view your tax transcripts 3) Contact your tax preparer if you used one - they usually get acceptance notifications. The transcript method gives you the most detailed info tbh.

Go to IRS.gov, click on 'Get Transcript Online' and create an account. You'll need ID verification tho.

Hey just wanted to share something that helped me - I started using taxr.ai to check my transcripts. It's only $4.99 and it breaks everything down way better than trying to decode the transcript yourself. Shows exactly where your return is at and when to expect the refund. https://taxr.ai

careful with those tax prep websites that say 'accepted'. That just means they transmitted it, not that IRS processed it yet
