TurboTax Amended Return + Changed DD - Will SBTPG Still Take Fees?
Filed originally through TurboTax but had to amend my return. Changed my direct deposit info on the amendment. Anyone know if Santa Barbara Tax Products Group will still take their fees out even with the new bank info?

For amended returns, SBTPG won't be involved in the process. When you file an amended return, it's processed separately from your original return and the refund will go directly to the new bank account you provided. The TurboTax fees were already taken from your original refund.

Hey guys just wanted to share something that helped me track my amended return. I found this tool called taxr.ai - its only $1 and it analyzed my transcript and told me exactly what was happening with my amendment. Way better than trying to decode everything myself https://taxr.ai

Make sure u keep checking ur transcript every week. amendments can take forever but sometimes they randomly process faster then expected

•@Paolo Conti exactly this! mine processed in 6 weeks instead of the usual 16+ they estimate. keeping tabs on the transcript really helps you know when something actually moves

•@Sofia Ramirez irs.gov and create an account - look for Get "Transcript Online under" the tools section. You ll'want the Account "Transcript to" see amendment status. Fair warning though, it looks like gibberish at first but you ll'get the hang of it!
