Tax Preparer using Credit Karma for refund loan - Is this legit?
My tax preparer wants to set up a Credit Karma account for my refund and says I'll get a new bank card. The refund would go there instead of my regular bank account. Something feels off about this. Anyone have experience with this setup? Just wanna make sure its legit before I agree to anything.

Tax professional here - be really careful with this. While Credit Karma does offer legitimate tax refund advance loans, your preparer should NOT be setting up accounts in your name. Major red flag 🚩 You should be the only one setting up any banking or credit accounts.
