Still waiting for IRS check with 9/9 mail date - anyone else?
My transcript shows a mail date of September 9th for my refund check but still nothing in my mailbox. Getting really anxious since its been weeks now. Anyone else experiencing delays with their check? What states are seeing longer delivery times?

The IRS says to allow up to 4 weeks from the mail date for checks to arrive. If it's been longer than that, you should call the IRS refund hotline at 800-829-1954. Sometimes checks get lost or returned to IRS.

Same here! Mail date 9/9 and still waiting in Ohio. Called my local post office and they said to give it another week since there have been delivery delays in my area. Really frustrating but trying to stay patient. At least we're not alone in this!
