Mail date 1/31 but still no refund check - anyone else?
The IRS website shows my refund check was mailed out January 31st but still nothing in my mailbox. Getting really worried since its been over a week now. Anyone else experiencing delays with mailed refunds this year?

The USPS has been having major delays lately with IRS mail. Generally, you should wait 2-3 weeks from the mail date before taking action. If you still haven't received it by February 21st, you can contact the IRS to initiate a payment trace. They'll investigate what happened to the check and reissue if necessary.

Same situation here - mailed 1/30 and still nothing. Called the IRS yesterday and they said to wait the full 4 weeks before requesting a trace. Super frustrating but apparently this is pretty normal right now. The rep mentioned they're seeing a lot of mail delays due to increased volume and some postal processing issues. Hang tight!
