SC State Refund Status: Step 4/5 but Money Already Deposited - What's up with that?
Just got my SC state refund deposited but the website is still showing step 4 of 5. Wanted to let everyone know the money might come before the tracker updates. Don't lose hope if your stuck on step 4!

This is actually pretty common with SC DOR. Their tracking system typically lags behind the actual processing. The deposit usually hits 2-3 days before the tracker updates to completion. The system updates in batches rather than real-time.
