Received IRS Processing Delay Letter & Now Getting Michigan Treasury Tax Document - Filed in February, No Refunds Yet

Just got a letter from the IRS saying they need additional time to process my return. No explanation why, no timeframe given, just that they're working on it. Filed in February and still nothing. Anyone else get something like this? Starting to get worried. I checked the Informed Delivery app this morning at 10:33 and saw I'm getting another piece of mail today from the Michigan Department of Treasury (PO Box 30757, Lansing, MI 48909). The envelope is marked "IMPORTANT: TAX DOCUMENT ENCLOSED" with Presorted First-Class Mail postage paid by Michigan Dept. of Treasury. This is the second tax-related letter I've received recently. The first was from the IRS about needing more time to process my federal return, and now I'm getting something from the state treasury department too. I filed both my federal and state returns back in February through TurboTax, and I'm still waiting on both refunds. The IRS letter was super vague - just said they need additional time for processing with zero explanation of what the holdup is or when I might expect resolution. And now with this Michigan Treasury letter arriving today, I'm getting increasingly concerned. Has anyone dealt with both federal AND state processing delays like this? Is this normal this year or should I be worried about an audit or some other problem?
