I've been seeing refund deposits scheduled for this weekend (January 21st). This has been my experience for the past 4 years with PATH affected returns. If you're seeing the PATH message, check your transcripts now!

Tax advisor here - this is accurate for PATH Act affected returns. The IRS typically starts processing EITC/ACTC returns in mid-January, with the first batch of refunds hitting accounts around January 21st. Keep in mind that your bank may hold funds for 1-2 business days after the IRS sends them.
