PATH Act: When exactly will 2024 EIC/CTC refunds hit bank accounts? Week of Feb 17 or later?
Anyone know when PATH Act refunds will actually hit accounts? I filed early January and WMR says I'm eligible for EITC and CTC. I know Feb 15th is the earliest possible date but wondering if deposits will start hitting that week of the 17th or if we're looking at the next week. Anyone have insight from previous years?

The IRS typically begins releasing PATH Act refunds immediately after Feb 15th. The first big wave usually hits accounts between Feb 17-22, with most direct deposits arriving by Feb 28th. Keep in mind, this timeline assumes no other issues with your return.

Previous tax preparer here - deposits typically start rolling out the week of the 17th, but it can take up to 2 weeks for everyone to get theirs. Bank matters too - some process faster than others.
