Need Prudential TIN for 1099-R form - IRS showing last four digits as 9830
Has anyone managed to get the complete TIN for Prudential for a 1099-R form? I'm trying to file my taxes electronically and the IRS transcript I received only shows the last four digits as 9830. They mask all the other numbers which makes it completely useless for e-filing purposes! I called Prudential customer service but got stuck in their automated system hell for 45 minutes before giving up. My tax software won't let me proceed without the full TIN, and I don't want to paper file if I can avoid it. Any help would be greatly appreciated - I'm trying to get this filed before the deadline in a couple weeks!
