NY State Tax Refund Delays 2025 - Upstate NY Still Waiting?
Filed my NY state return 3 weeks ago and still nothing. Meanwhile my friends in other states already got their refunds. Anyone else in upstate still waiting? Starting to get antsy watching my account like a hawk everyday lol

Tax professional here in Buffalo - NY state is processing returns geographically this year, starting with NYC metro area. Upstate processing typically takes 2-4 weeks longer. They're implementing new fraud detection systems which is causing additional delays in certain regions.
