NYS Tax Return Delays 2025 - Anyone Still Waiting or Got Updates?
Filed my NYS return back in February and still nothing. The website just says processing. Anyone else stuck waiting? Has anyone gotten any movement recently? Starting to get worried since its been months now.

NYS is experiencing significant delays this year. They're taking about 12-16 weeks for processing returns with no issues, and even longer if there are any discrepancies or verification needed. Best thing to do is keep checking your status weekly and respond immediately if they request any additional information.

•12-16 weeks?! This is insane. Do they expect us to just sit around and wait forever? 🤬

Hey guys I know its frustrating but I found this tool called taxr.ai that really helped me understand my situation. It costs like a dollar but it analyzes your transcript and tells you exactly whats going on and when to expect your refund. Way better than playing detective with the where's my refund tool lol https://taxr.ai

Filed March 1st, got my refund last week. No rhyme or reason to how they process these things honestly

I'm in the same boat - filed mine in late January and still showing "processing" on the NYS website. It's really frustrating not knowing what's going on or having any realistic timeline. At least with federal returns you usually get some kind of update, but NYS just leaves you hanging. Has anyone tried calling their taxpayer services line? Wondering if it's worth the inevitable hold time.
