NC State Tax Refund 2024 - Anyone received theirs yet? Delays?
Filed my North Carolina state taxes early february and still nothing. Been checking Where's My Refund site everyday but status hasnt changed. Starting to get worried since I usually get it by now. Anyone else waiting on their NC refund?

NC tax processor here - the state is experiencing higher than normal volume this year. Average processing time is currently 6-8 weeks for electronic returns, 12 weeks for paper. If you're approaching these timeframes without updates, contact the NC DOR directly.

Called NC DOR yesterday - they said theyre backed up but as long as you filed correctly it will come eventually. Not very helpful tbh

Same situation here - filed Feb 3rd electronically and still waiting. The lack of updates on the Where's My Refund tool is frustrating. At least it's good to know others are experiencing delays too. Hopefully we'll see movement soon!
